The Greater Bay Area Culture Digital Research Institute was established under the GBA cultural development strategy to implement the Outline Development Plan for the GBA and the National Cultural Digitalization Strategy. The Institute integrates the four cultural systems of Lingnan culture, HK-Macao culture, red and contemporary culture, and ethnic and folk culture, dedicated to excavating, reconstructing, and disseminating GBA's rich cultural heritage through cutting-edge digital technology.
With 'Culture as Soul, Digital as Wings' as its core philosophy, the Institute not only carries the academic mission of preserving GBA's cultural heritage in the digital era, but also leverages the multi-stakeholder collaborative advantage of government-industry-school-enterprise cooperation, leading the transformation of cultural resources into digital assets and helping build the GBA cultural community.
